Our extended curriculum will provide pupils with guaranteed access to an exciting range of extra-curricular and enrichment activities; from swimming coaching and Creative Arts clubs to Chinese language lessons and participation in national charity campaigns, pupils at The Suthers School will benefit from a truly enriching curriculum—and that’s because we see such access as an essential part of a balanced and exciting education which not only develops highly desired employability skills but also contributes to a truly rounded educational experience.
It is important to us that each pupil has the freedom to develop his or her interests and skills through the highest quality provision and that this should be provided without additional cost. Our extensive programme has been carefully planned to provide a variety of creative, sporting, social and academic opportunities throughout the school year, some of which lead to nationally recognised qualifications such as LAMDA, the Young Lifeguarding Award and the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
We will offer both team and individual sports coaching and competition and provide the opportunity to compete against other schools in regular sporting fixtures.
Underpinning the enrichment programme at The Suthers School will be the ambition to involve pupils in local and global action, to develop essential employability skills and to provide a range of activities to excite and enthuse pupils of all abilities.
